Feist Prairie, for a work party on Thursday, August 8 from 9 a.m. to Noon. We’ll focus on removing woody invasives like honeysuckle, prickly ash, and small black walnut trees. After the work party, let’s meet for lunch in Fennimore (location to be determined).\n \n\n\nWHAT TO BRING:\nIf you have them, please bring brush cutters, small chainsaws, loppers, and herbicide sprayers/daubers. Coming from the north or west, head east out of Stitzer on Hwy E. Turn right onto Ridge Road, then head south for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Road for 1 mile. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your left.\nFrom Platteville, head north on Hwy D. Turn left on Hwy E. for approx. 3 miles. Turn left on Scenic Road – in 1.5 miles, turn right onto Sleepy Hollow Road. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your right.\n\n
