Erbe Grassland is a 140-acre TPE preserve located in the Driftless Area of western Dane County. The preserve is being managed primarily as prairie, along with some limited oak savanna, for a wide range of rare and declining species dependent upon this habitat.\nWHAT TO BRING:\nBe sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather (dress in layers). For burning brush piles, wear old clothes you do not mind getting small holes in from fire brands. Do not wear synthetic fabrics near burn piles; they ignite too easily.
