DESCRIPTION:Shea Prairie Field Trip\nWednesday, May 28 – 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.\nLocation: Shea Prairie in Barneveld, WI\n\nCome explore the remnants of dry prairie and restorations of wetlands and wet to mesic prairie of The Prairie Enthusiasts’ 100-acre Shea Prairie. Shooting stars and other spring flowers, grassland birds, butterflies, and bumble bees will be in the offering. This site is a unit of The Prairie Enthusiasts’ 833-acre Mounds View Grassland and has undergone extensive stream and wetland restoration since 2012. \n \n\n\nWHAT TO BRING:\nBring water, snacks and dress for the weather.
