DESCRIPTION:Minnesota Driftless Chapter Annual Meeting and Potluck\nSunday, October 5 – 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.\nLocation: Quarry Hill Nature Center in Rochester, MN\n\nPlease join the Minnesota Driftless Chapter for their annual meeting and potluck! The meeting, dinner and socializing will take place in the Quarry Room of the nature center. The hike will be through the park’s prairie and savanna areas, including areas with ongoing restoration efforts.\nThis gathering is free to attend and open to all. Please RSVP to help Event Organizers plan! REGISTER HERE ( https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/5p5nhfg/lp/21a42ea4-454c-40f5-bc85-bd7a8eb48f00 )\nWe’re still figuring out many of the details, but our tentative plans are as follows:\n4:30 p.m. – Annual Chapter Meeting\n5:00 p.m. – Potluck Dinner and Socializing\n6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Guided Hike\nWHAT TO BRING:\nFor Potluck\nIn order to optimize the pot-luck dinner contributions, we’re asking attendees to bring contributions based on the first letter of their last name:\n\nA-H: Main dishes\nI-N: Side dishes/salads\nO-R: Desserts\nS-Z: Appetizers or drinks\n\nWe’d like to minimize waste by asking attendees to bring their own reusable dishes, utensils and drinkware. There will be a sink and dish soap on site for washing up afterwards. But if anyone forgets to bring their own tableware we’ll have backup items available for use.\nFor Hike\n-Long pants and socks, sturdy footwear and anything else to be comfortable.
