DESCRIPTION:Help is needed this winter with  tree and brush removal!\nBe sure to wear appropriate clothing for the weather (dress in layers), and for burning brush piles (old clothes you do not mind getting holes in from fire brands).  Do not wear synthetic fabrics, they ignite too easily.  Wear sturdy footwear and work gloves.  Bring drinking water.  Chainsaw operators with their own equipment are welcome but must have safety chaps and headgear.  Bring pruners or loppers, if you have them, otherwise they will be provided.\nWinter work parties are dependent on weather & snow conditions; snow need/tolerance varies depending upon activity planned.  Therefore, check with contact person the night before to confirm status of the event.\nThursday, February 23, 10am-2pm, Swenson Bluff\nDirections:  Swenson Bluff Prairie From Hwy 14, 1.5 mi west of Arena, take Co H south.\nGo 1.9 mi. The preserve is on the left (east side of road).\n
