DESCRIPTION:Aspen Girdling\nSaturday, May 20th – 9:00 AM to Noon\nLocation: Lulu Lake State Natural Area\nThis site has elements of both oak woodland and oak savanna. The views are outstanding from the top of the hill overlooking the Lake. We will be girdling aspen. It is scheduled for three hours but feel free to come and go as you need.\nWHERE TO MEET:\nThe meeting location is Lulu Lake North. When traveling from Mukwonago, proceed west on Co. Rd CO. At the junction of Co. Rd E turn left. (south). Travel for just under a mile and turn right (west) onto South Shore Drive. Follow South Shore until it meets with Jack’s Bay Drive. Turn Left on Jack’s Bay Drive. Follow until you continue into a private driveway. Travel about 600 feet and park on the left near the power line right of way.\nWHAT TO BRING:\nyou will need sturdy boots, gloves, and a water bottle!\nFor questions or directions call Dick Bautz at 262-501-2929\n
