This time we’ll work on the invasive vines, brush, and brambles, and pull out the (hopefully) few sweet clover stragglers. Maybe some seed collecting, too. We shall see…\nCome and help this wonderful prairie. Black Earth Prairie is one of the finest prairie remnants in this area, but like all good things, it needs help to stay super good. And there will be flowers to reward us—there’s lots of flowering spurge this year. What a wonderful prairie!\nAnd oh yes, there will be snacks….!\nNote: Bring a friend, if you have one who thinks this would be fun!\nWHAT TO BRING:\nHat, gloves, long pants, and sturdy shoes or boots. And bring bug and sun stuff. Also, sharp eyes—the better to see the weeds with. Clippers shovels, and herbicide provided as needed. And snacks!\nDIRECTIONS:\nFrom the intersection of US Hwy 14 and County F in Black Earth, follow F west out of town, then south when it separates from KP. Take your first right on Fesenfeld Road and go about 0.1 mile to the Prairie entrance.
