Feist Prairie Work Party
Friday, April 25 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Location: Feist Prairie
Let’s meet at Feist on Friday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to Noon to bring down these “plants out of place.” Eradication will involve a variety of methods: pulling, snipping, cutting, sawing, and herbicide application.
After the work party, let’s meet for lunch in Fennimore at Timothy’s Cafe.
Rain date is Sunday, April 27 from 9 – Noon.
WHAT TO BRING:
If you have them, please bring brush cutters, chainsaws, loppers, pruners, herbicide sprayers/daubers, and other implements of destruction restoration. Herbicide will be provided. Ear protection is recommended and leather gloves are strongly encouraged.

DIRECTIONS:
Feist Prairie is located southeast of Stitzer on Sleepy Hollow Road. Coming from the north or west, head east out of Stitzer on Hwy E. Turn right onto Ridge Road, then head south for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Road for 1 mile. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your left.
From Platteville, head north on Hwy D. Turn left on Hwy E. for approx. 3 miles. Turn left on Scenic Road – in 1.5 miles, turn right onto Sleepy Hollow Road. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your right.
