Swenson Bluffs Preserve Invasives Removal Workday

Saturday, July 19 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon

Location: Swenson Bluffs Preserve (formerly Agaski Bluff) in Arena, WI

Join us at Swenson Bluffs Preserve (formerly Agaski Bluff) to help pull knapweed, sweet clover and other invasive plants.

WHAT TO BRING:

Bring gloves, wear pants and sturdy shoes. Most of the work is on a steep slope in the remnant prairie. We’ll have water. Please bring your own bottle.

DIRECTIONS:

Address is 7352 Mellum Rd, Arena WI. From Highway 14 just west of Arena, turn south on Highway H. Go 2.5 miles and turn left/east on Mellum Road. In 0.2 miles turn left at the first driveway you come to. Park at the end on the left or along the driveway. Do not block the neighbors who share the driveway. The blue house is the neighbor. The red shed is The Prairie Enthusiasts.
