We believe conservation works best locally. The Prairie Enthusiasts is organized in 13 chapters, each serving several counties of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. While a board comprised of members from across the organization oversees The Prairie Enthusiasts, the chapters are the core of The Prairie Enthusiasts’ conservation and education activities. Chapters hold field trips and other events, organize hands-on management of prairies and savannas, pursue land acquisition and protection.
