MANY RIVERS FIELD TRIP
Many Rivers Prairie Hike
Monday, September 22 – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Kasota Prairie Scientific and Natural Area, MN
Come on a hike with us through the prairie!
Each fourth Monday from March to October, we will hold an informal hike for people interested in prairies. These hikes will be held on publicly-accessible land in the Many Rivers Chapter area. Open to the general public (humans only, no pets). We will meet at 6:00 p.m. and hike for 1-2 hours; participants may leave at their leisure.
For more information, site maps, and inclement weather updates, visit our Prairie Hike webpage at: sites.google.com/view/prairie-hikes. In the event of bad weather, check this page for updates prior to the event.
WHAT TO BRING:
Participants should wear clothing appropriate for the field and weather (boots, long pants, hat, etc.). Be prepared to walk through tall grass on uneven terrain. Bring drinking water and any other supplies you’ll need for a hike.
