Presentation: “Bison’s Place on the Prairie”

Friday, January 9 – 5:00 p.m.

Location: Jake’s Stadium Pizza in Mankato, MN

Everyone is invited to Jake’s Stadium Pizza in Mankato for a special prairie presentation this Friday at 5:00 p.m. We will begin with a social hour. You do not need to be a chapter member to attend. Come and enjoy some food and a beverage and recover from the holidays with your prairie friends!

This title of this week’s presentation will be “Bisons Place on the Prairie”- An introduction to the biology, culture and history surrounding our National Mammal. The presentation will tell the history of bison in North America and their ecological role in grasslands and will also highlight the importance of bison to indigenous prairie people.
