Many Rivers Prescribed Burn Crew Member Training

The Many River Chapter is encouraging all burn crew members to complete Prairie Enthusiast required prescribed burn training this Spring. Our very own Jason Andersen will be leading a one day, in-person, crew member training class in the Mankato area on April 18th at no charge to Many River Chapter members (details to follow).

Alternatively, for those who would like to take the virtual burn school training as part of the Annual Prairie Enthusiast Conference in February, the Many River Chapter will reimburse you for the $35 registration fee. The choice is yours – you only need to take one!

Also, Molly Tranel is going to be doing the Many Rivers Chapter Burn Refresher at Jake’s Stadium Pizza in Mankato on Friday, April 17. The 4/17 refresher is for ALL burn crew except for those who are taking the 4/18 course, but of course everyone is welcome to come.

The 4/18 course is targeted to those who have not taken the basic TPE course or S-130 and S-190. This training only needs to be done once, but if one wants to take it again it’s a great way to review the training.
