Invasive Species Removal and Native Vegetation Restoration

Location: Prairie Island Park in Winona, MN
Be part of a collaboration that’s working together to remove invasive species and restore native vegetation at Winona’s Prairie Island Park:
- The City of Winona Department of Natural Resources & Sustainability
- Front Porch Management
- The Will Dilg Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America
You’re invited join us for three winter workdays (as long as the temperatures are above 25F) from 3:00 p.m. until dark:
- January 28
- February 25
- March 11
WHAT TO BRING
Hand saws, daubers, and instructions will be provided. We suggest wearing snow pants and warm work gloves.
