Work Party

Our tasks for the day will be cutting junipers (small ones, from 3 to 15 feet tall) and larger buckthorn that we happen to find in Brokken woods in Afton, Mn.

Date: December 27 (Sat)
Time: 10am to 2pm
Location:  15695 37th Street South, Afton
Directions: We will meet at the Brokken house.
Turn west onto 37th street from St. Croix trail in Afton and follow the dead end road up the hill. This is a shared, and narrow, driveway. Stay to the left at the “Y” and note the small sign on the left showing that you are on the right route.

Bring:

• Dress appropriately for weather
• Drinking water
• Leather gloves

Snacks, beverages, and tools will be provided. Feel free to bring your own lunch. We may have a bonfire, in which case there will be hot dogs!
