York Prairie Work Party

Thursday, September 25 – 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Location: Weber Unit of York Prairie State Natural Area in Blanchardville, WI

York Prairie State Natural Area holds several remnant prairies in a landscape of grasslands and is great for rare plants and grassland birds. There has been a long history of volunteer work at these sites, and it continues on the third Saturday of the month. It’s the heart of seed-collecting season! We’ll use the seed in newly restored areas and teach any newcomers. Come hang out with us and do some good in the process.
