SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN PRESENTATION

Simply Bat-tastic: What Makes Bats Truly Unique

Thursday, November 6 – 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Location: Southwest Tech Auditorium in Fennimore, WI

Whether you love bats or begrudgingly co-exist with them, few can deny that they’re fascinating mammals. Learn some basics of bat biology, hear how biologists study bats, and discover the challenges that bats face in our world today. General audience – appropriate for ages 12 and above.

Join the Southwest Chapter of The Prairie Enthusiasts for an engaging presentation by Jeff Huebschman, Biology Professor at UW-Platteville, and a fan and researcher of bats for over 25 years. Dr Huebschman teaches Mammalogy, Ornithology, Ecological Methods and Research and Diversity of Life at UW-Platteville. Dr. Huebschman and his students study bat populations in Southwest Wisconsin.
