Tree and Brush Removal at Agaski Unit of Swenson Bluffs Preserve

Sunday, November 30 – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Location: Swenson Bluffs Preserve in Arena, WI

The Agaski unit of Swenson Bluffs Preserve is coming along nicely. There are only 11,234 buckthorns left to kill, along with a few honeysuckles and multi-flora roses.

The upper CRP field is amazing, and the lower 12-acre field has been planted to prairie. Let’s restore the area between the two and give the beautiful open-grown Bur Oaks some room to breathe.

WHAT TO BRING:

Wear sturdy boots, gloves, and bring a water bottle. If you have loppers or chainsaws that you love, bring those too.

DIRECTIONS:

Address is 7352 Mellum Rd, Arena WI. From Highway 14 just west of Arena, turn south on Highway H. Go 2.5 miles and turn left/east on Mellum Road. In 0.2 miles turn left at the first driveway you come to. Park at the end on the left or along the driveway. Do not block the neighbors who share the driveway. The blue house is the neighbor. The red shed is The Prairie Enthusiasts.
