ACCESS & DIRECTIONS
The St. Croix Valley chapter started managing the river-side of the trail from trail head #11 to trail head #12.

Ownership History
The site is owned by the City of River Falls.
Management
Our goals for 2026 are to
- Clear between the main trail and river from the KRLT sign to bench at bottom of Trail #11
- Cut and treat small buckthorn from five experimental plots
- Sow prairie and grass seed into all cleared areas
- Remove Dame’s Rocket and Garlic Mustard from experimental plots
- Census bat activity once a month in all experimental and control plots
- Census pollinator activity and flowering in all experimental and control plots
