Brush Clearing & Treating

Saturday, November 18 — Noon to 4:00 p.m. 

Location: Lookout Prairie in Hixon Forest

Meet at the parking lot near the weather station on County FA. Will be cutting and treating brush this time outside the burn unit The area where we will be working is moderately steep but there is an option to work on a flatter area.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:

For each of the outings, please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and bring work gloves. If you have a decent pair of hand pruners or loppers, bring them, otherwise we will supply them. Consider bringing water and a snack.
