ST CROIX VALLEY FIELD TRIP
US Fish & Wildlife Seed Farm Event
TPE friends and family have been invited to a St. Croix Wildlife Management District (WMD) seed program event.
Staff willl lead a tour of a new prairie planting site.
This is a great opportunity to see the results of the hard work put in by the USFWS and their volunteers. The new planting looks spectacular with tons of flowering species! Staff will distribute copies of the seed mix planted. Everyone can also help get an idea of how many species have flowered within just two growing seasons.
It’s a short walk to the prairie from our office location (1764 95th St New Richmond WI 54017) but touring the whole planting is going to be a mildly challenging walk so we can adjust based on people’s preferences on the day of if needed.
Please let us know (evanne.hunt@outlook.com) if you plan to come. Staff want to know if there will be a large crowd.
