ST CROIX VALLEY FIELD TRIP
Blueberry Hill Field Trip
Join us as we walk this dry remnant located just a ½ mile south from the MN DNR’s Scientific and Natural Area (SNA) “St. Croix Savanna”. Blueberry is part of a larger prairie & savanna complex that is located along several railroads.

Bring:
- Drinking water (it may get hot)
- Long pants (there is poison ivy)
- Hat (it may get hot)
- Camera (get a great picture of flowers)
- Binoculars (might see some birds)
Directions to Blueberry:
Site is located just south of Bayport, Minnesota, at the intersection of Quant Ave and MN Hwy 95.

The remnant is along the bluff above the St. Croix River. The restoration is on the west side of Quant Avenue. Prairie seed was hand-broadcast on the field in 2013.
