GLACIAL PRAIRIE WORK PARTY
Spotted Knapweed/Cypress Spurge Control, Aspen Girdling, and Brush/Tree Control

Location: Mukwonago River Oak Barrens
Come help us add to the quality and diversity of this site! Dan Carter continues to find new species at this site, with the indigenous (not planted) native plant list now numbering 220. Our work will match the conditions, and may involve spotted knapweed and cypress spurge control, aspen girdling, and/or brush and tree work.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Varies
WHAT TO BRING:
Sturdy boots, long pants and sleeves, work gloves, eye protection (sunglasses are ok), hat, insect repellant, and water. Bring a lawn/camping chair for refreshments and conversation at the end.
