SOUTHWEST WI CHAPTER
The Southwest Chapter will be hosting a work party at Sime Bald on Saturday, February 25. We will be cutting up and removing trees that, because of the tornado, have fallen onto good prairie. We will stack what can be stacked. Bring chainsaws and loppers, or just be ready to drag and stack branches. If you have the equipment and the comfort level, you could also bring a pickup truck to use to drag larger logs. We plan to begin at 9:00 and go until noon. We can gather for lunch and social time in Boscobel afterward if people are interested.
If weather looks threatening or strange as the date gets closer, you should feel free to contact me to make sure the event is still on.
Directions to Sime Bald: Head southeast out of Boscobel on County Road MS for about one mile. The property is on the north side of MS just at the point where M and S split. The house on the corner is a separate property. The Sime Bald property is just west of the house.
