Location: Benedict Prairie

Join Alan Eppers and come see the progress we’ve made at this iconic and rare mesic prairie that was inventoried in the 1950’s by the famous professor John T. Curtis! Participants should wear natural fibers, at least for outer layers. You will need sturdy footwear, clothes that can get beat up and work gloves.

Difficulty level: medium (physical work)

Meeting location:

I-94 to state hwy 50 (Kenosha/Lake Geneva exit) Hwy 50 west 1.5 miles to 144th Ave. South on 144th Ave 0.6 miles Benedict Prairie is on the east side. There is a sign near the road.
