Earth Day Celebration

Saturday, April 20 – 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Location: Gateway Campus in Kenosha County

On the Saturday closest to Earth Day in April, Gateway celebrates our environment with displays, workshops and hands-on activities for people of all ages. The event started on Gateway’s Kenosha Campus in 2008 and extended to the Elkhorn Campus in 2012. Hundreds of community members participate in Celebrate Earth Day every year to learn how to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle and to show their support for green community practices.

Each campus event is coordinated by a committee from that campus. We encourage you to visit each campus and enjoy their unique offering of education, hands-on activities and entertainment.

Celebrate Earth Day provides free display space to non-profit organizations and businesses that promote environmental stewardship and education for the events at the Elkhorn and Kenosha campuses. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration applications for booths with a primary purpose of product sales may be declined.
