SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN: WORK PARTY

Borah Barn Clean Up

Saturday, September 2 – 9:00 AM to Noon

Location: Borah Creek Prairie

You are invited to join the Borah Barn Committee to help clean up the beautiful old barn on our Borah Creek Prairie site.

We have big plans to use the barn for events and functions in the future. Clean-Up is one of the first steps to that dream.

We need volunteers to help us clean the haymow, and to cut, pull and stack weeds outside around the barn and out-buildings.

We hope you can join us!

WHAT TO BRING:

If you plan to work inside, we suggest you wear a face mask due to the dust that will be stirred up. Bring chore/farm brooms, dust pans, gloves, etc.

Outside work will need loppers, hand nippers and string trimmers.

Bring a camp chair and sack lunch and enjoy the Borah Creek Prairie views after we finish our work.

DIRECTIONS:

From Fennimore head west on US Highway 18. Turn left onto Cemetery Road and right onto Mount Ridge Road for about 3 miles. The access road into Borah Creek Prairie is on the right at 11949 Mount Ridge Road. Follow the road thru the prairie and park alongside the barn.

WORK PARTY LEADER:

Questions can be sent to Martha Querin-Schultz via EMAIL

The event is finished.
