Location: Briggs Wetland

Next prescribed fire for Prairie Bluff Chapter is planned for Monday, March 11, at Briggs Wetland, located northwest of Beloit in Rock County.  We’ll meet at 10 a.m. on Cleophus Road, across from intersection with Barnum Road, north of Beloit Newark Road and west of Highway 213.  We have a burn plan for 28 acres that includes TPE’s 20-acre Briggs and 8 adjacent acres on Green-Rock Audubon Society’s Gabower Reilly East preserve.  Please RSVP if you CAN help out.  Rubber boots might be helpful but are not required.
