Prairie Tour
Saturday, April 27 – 10:00 a.m.

On this tour of the Stewart Schilling and Michelle Godez property, we will see 20+ species of spring ephemerals on their private 6-acre remnant prairie restoration project. Their property is located in between Dodgeville and Spring Green on the north border of Governor Dodge State Park.
Stewart and Michelle are 4-5 years into this restoration of a steep, rugged, southern aspect oak-hickory savanna (and red pine relict) on the northern edge of Governor Dodge State Park. We’ll hike off-trail to tour the work and see what’s popping up after a fall burn.
