We seek to ensure the perpetuation and recovery of prairie, oak savanna, and other associated ecosystems of the Upper Midwest through protection, management, restoration, and education. In doing so, we strive to work openly and cooperatively with private landowners and other private and public conservation groups.
The Prairie Enthusiasts is organized in 11 chapters, each serving several counties of Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota with members across the nation and overseas.
The Prairie Enthusiasts is made up of 11 regional chapters. Our engaged volunteers are driving local land stewardship, grassroots outreach and education, and complete various administrative duties. We’re grateful for our dedicated volunteer base and are welcoming of new, interested volunteers.
