Tree & Brush Removal

Saturday, December 14 — 9:00 a.m. to Noon

Location: Maiden Rock Bluff State Natural Ara

The West-Central DNR State Natural Areas program hosts a monthly workday the 2nd Thursday of each month, typically at Maiden Rock State Natural Area. These are valuable opportunities to work alongside natural resource professionals and pick their brains about management techniques, plant ID, etc., while helping to restore a beautiful and charismatic remnant prairie. The work varies with the seasons – brush control or mesic tree removal are likely targets of this month’s workday.

As workdays may be cancelled due to poor weather, you are encouraged to RSVP with Dean Edlin at  To sign up for monthly alerts about volunteer opportunities on SNAs in your area and view more information click here: .

The event is finished.
