Partner Workday: Meridean Barrens – WI Department of Natural Resources/Xcel Energy

Thursday, September 12 – 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Location: Meridean Barrens

The West-Central DNR State Natural Areas program hosts a monthly workday the 2nd Thursday of each month. These are valuable opportunities to work alongside natural resource professionals and pick their brains about management techniques, plant ID, etc., while helping restore some of Wisconsin’s ecological gems. Please bring work gloves, closed-toed shoes, bug spray, water, a hat, and snacks/a lunch. There are no bathrooms on site.
