Brush Clearing

Tuesday, November 28 — 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Location: Adelman-Schwartz Preserve

Help our new site steward restore this hillside prairie! The Glacial Prairie Chapter owns Adelman-Schwartz Preserve, and we’ll clear and treat brush, so please wear sturdy footwear, clothes that can get beat up, work gloves, and water.Given the slope’s southwestern face, on a sunny day this site can be quite pleasant to work on.

Difficulty level: medium-challenging (physical work on a steep slope)

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:

Please bring eye protection if you have it (glasses, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc.).
