Cutting and Treating Brush

Tuesday, November 7 – Noon

Location: Lookout Prairie in La Crosse’s Hixon Forest

The Prairie Enthusiasts has burned this site recently and we plan to do another burn this winter or spring. We’ll be cutting and treating trees and brush in preparation for the burn. Most work is on steep terrain, but there is an option to work on relatively flat areas. RSVP (see below) to get the details. Regular noon start time.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR:

For each of the outings, please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and bring work gloves. Consider bringing water and a snack.
