COULEE REGION AND FRIENDS OF THE BLUFFLANDS FIELD TRIP
Second Saturday Hike at Eureka Maple Woods SNA
Saturday, May 9 – 9:00 a.m.
Location: Eureka Maple Woods SNA near Cashton, WI
The Friends of the Blufflands are having monthly hikes on the second Saturday throughout the summer. Come witness the amazing array of spring ephemerals and other early flowering species of moist woods at this DNR-owned State Natural Area. Our Chapter has hosted this hike a couple of times in the past and it is never disappointing (despite not being a fire-dependent ecosystem!).
WHAT TO BRING:
Water, sturdy hiking shoes, bug repellent and dress for the weather. Bring binoculars for birding if you have them.
