Schluckebier Sand Prairie will be a “Point of Interest” on this year’s Farm/Art DTour through Sauk County. It’s only fitting that a remnant of the original Sauk Prairie be a feature on this year’s DTour! If you’re not familiar with the Farm/Art DTour, it’s a self-guided tour through Sauk County highlighting various cultural activities, whimsical art installations, and points of interest, among other things, along a driving or cycling tour through scenic Sauk County.

Prairie Enthusiast volunteers will be onsite most late mornings and afternoons over the weekends of Oct 5-6 and 12-13 to serve as site docents and offer tours if requested. If you have never been to Schluckebier Sand Prairie or it’s just been a few years, consider stopping by to familiarize yourself with the site and appreciate its natural autumn beauty.
