Introduction to the World of Seeds Workshop

Location: Schurch-Thomson Prairie in Barneveld, WI
Collecting, cleaning, and sowing the seeds of native plants is essential for the restoration natural communities. Each summer and fall, dozens of volunteers take part in this deeply satisfying activity at many Prairie Enthusiasts sites. This workshop will introduce people of all ages and backgrounds to how plants reproduce and will let everyone experience firsthand the joys of working with seeds. Registration is $20 for adults and free to anyone under 16, and is capped at 30 attendees.
