Location: Benedict Prairie with Alan Eppers
Benedict Prairie is a unique remnant located along a right-of-way on the old Kenosha-Silver Lake-Beloit branch of the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. The original vegetation is described by UW-Milwaukee Professor Philip Whitford in this pamphlet. Difficulty level: easy-medium; level but uneven terrain
WHAT TO BRING:
Participants should wear natural fibers, at least for outer layers. You will need sturdy footwear, clothes that can get beat up and work gloves.

DIRECTIONS:
I-94 to state hwy 50 (Kenosha/Lake Geneva exit) Hwy 50 west 1.5 miles to 144th Ave. South on 144th Ave 0.6 miles Benedict Prairie is on the east side. There is a sign near the road.
