Invasives Removal
Tuesday, July 9: 9:00 a.m to Noon
Location: Feist Prairie
Join us for a work party at Feist Prairie, outside of Stitzer. We’ll focus on removing invasives like honeysuckle, raspberries, and prickly ash. After the work party, let’s meet for lunch in Fennimore (location to be determined).
WHAT TO BRING:
If you have them, please bring brush cutters, small chainsaws, loppers, and herbicide sprayers/daubers. Herbicide will be provided.

DIRECTIONS:
Feist Prairie is located southeast of Stitzer on Sleepy Hollow Road. Coming from the north or west, head east out of Stitzer on Hwy E. Turn right onto Ridge Road, then head south for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Road for 1 mile. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your left.
From Platteville, head north on Hwy D. Turn left on Hwy E. for approx. 3 miles. Turn left on Scenic Road – in 1.5 miles, turn right onto Sleepy Hollow Road. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your right.
