GLACIAL PRAIRIE WORK PARTY

State Natural Areas Seed Collecting

Saturday, September 28 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon

Location: Kettle Moraine Low Prairie

Help our Southeastern Wisconsin fire-dependent ecosystems thrive! Seed collected will be disbursed across protected sites to improve species diversity, increasing resiliency and improving habitats. If you’ve wanted to try a work party, but felt uncertain if they were for you, volunteering to collect seeds is a low-intensity way to get out in the field and make a difference!

WORK PARTY LEADER:

RSVP and contact Nancy Gloe. Work is usually rain or shine, but RSVP to receive notice of any cancellations, changes, and/or details about the specific work planned once we know what the weather will be like.

DIRECTIONS:

We’ll access the prairie from Wilton Rd. Please park along the road. RSVP to Nancy for details on meeting location.

The event is finished.
