GLACIAL PRAIRIE WORK PARTY
Adelman-Schwartz Preserve Work Party
Saturday, April 5 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Location: Adelman-Scwartz Preserve in Walworth County, WI
This preserve protects increasingly rare undeveloped lake shore habitat and includes a hill prairie, wetlands and oak woodlands. The steward and volunteers have made significant progress toward restoration, and we need help removing invasive species and burning brush piles. We will also prepare the site for prescribed burning this spring.
WHAT TO BRING:
Recommended for the workday: Sturdy boots, work gloves, dress for the weather. Bring folding/camping chairs for social time after our work is done.
