GLACIAL PRAIRIE CHAPTER WORK DAY

Start the New Year by helping our native ecosystems!

We have a full calendar of workdays during January to work off any holiday excess and care for our environment.

Wear clothes that can get beat up, sturdy boots, work gloves, and bring a water bottle. Tools, safety equipment, and training will be provided at each event.

Sat Jan 14th, 9am – Noon, Dennis Connell Oak Woodland in Waterville

This gem is a remnant oak woodland owned by chapter member Dennis Connell. It has great potential. The current priority is to remove some understory including common buckthorn and honeysuckle. This will really help restoration. We will be cutting and piling brush.
