MANY RIVERS FIELD TRIP
Many Rivers Prairie Hike
Monday, March 24 – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Kasota Prairie in St. Peter, MN
Come on a hike with us through the prairie! This hike will be a search for spring pasqueflower.
Each fourth Monday from March to October, we will hold an informal hike for people interested in prairies. These hikes will be held on publicly-accessible land in the Many Rivers Chapter area. Open to the general public (humans only, no pets). We will meet at 6:00 p.m. and hike for 1-2 hours; participants may leave at their leisure.
WHAT TO BRING:
Participants should wear clothing appropriate for the field and weather (boots, long pants, hat, etc.). Be prepared to walk through tall grass on uneven terrain. Bring drinking water and any other supplies you’ll need for a hike.
