The days before our planned fall prescribed fire at the Garvin Heights Oak Woodland/Savanna Burn Unit are ticking down. Before the prescribed fire there are some open-grown bur oaks that we need to clear brush, dead wood, and leaves away from. Also, we need to walk the fire breaks another time to cut down (with a sickle) any grasses and forbs left in the fire break.

WHAT TO BRING:

If you have your own loppers and rake, feel free to bring those.
