SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN WORK PARTY
Feist Prairie Work Party
Wednesday, July 2 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Location: Feist Prairie in Grant County, WI
Feist Prairie is abloom with pale purple coneflowers! Come enjoy the beauty while ensuring that the splendor continues by attending this work party. We’ll focus on removing invasive plants and shrubs from the areas that were cleared last year. Eradication will involve a variety of methods: pulling, snipping, cutting, sawing, and herbicide application. After the work party, let’s meet for lunch in Fennimore at The Lemon Door.
WHAT TO BRING:
You might want to wear rubber boots due to the heavy morning dew. If you have them, please bring brush cutters, chainsaws, loppers, pruners, herbicide sprayers/daubers, and/or other implements of destruction restoration. Herbicide will be provided. Ear protection is recommended and leather gloves are strongly encouraged.
