Feist Prairie Work Party and S’mores
Saturday, January 4 – 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Come celebrate the new year by setting brush piles ablaze at Feist Prairie!
Work crews have been so productive this year that we have several ginormous brush piles to incinerate in preparation for a spring prescribed burn.
We’ll gather at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4 to ignite the pyres, and revel in the heat and camaraderie while dining on traditional campfire foods. Hot chocolate, hot cider, turkey dogs, buns, chips, baked beans, and S’mores makings provided. BYO if you want something else to eat or drink. Also bring something to sit on and dress for the weather. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments, storytellers their favorite midwinter tales, and performers of all other talents are welcome to share their gifts.

DIRECTIONS:
Feist Prairie is located southeast of Stitzer on Sleepy Hollow Road. Coming from the north or west, head east out of Stitzer on Hwy E. Turn right onto Ridge Road, then head south for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Sleepy Hollow Road for 1 mile. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your left.
From Platteville, head north on Hwy D. Turn left on Hwy E. for approx. 3 miles. Turn left on Scenic Road – in 1.5 miles, turn right onto Sleepy Hollow Road. Look for the Feist Prairie sign on your right.
