ST. CROIX VALLEY Bird Hike in Alexander savanna

Time: 8am – 10am
Location: Alexander oak savanna
Directions: Take highway 35 south towards River Falls.
Take highway 65 south (35 turns into 65) toward Ellsworth.
Gravel road entrance is on the right just after the Town of River Falls town hall.
Join the St. Croix Valley Bird Club and the chapter on a hike through the savanna. We will listen for birds and record them on eBird.
We will also evaluate the effects of the March 18 prescribed burn. If you were on the burn crew, you want to see how it all turned out!
Bring your binoculars, drinking water, bug spray, and perhaps a hat.
