ST. CROIX VALLEY field trip to an “in progress” prairie planting

Alex Bouthilet has a 10-year-old prairie reconstruction that is still in progress. He uses no herbicide and no tillage for establishment, he just burned and seeded annually. We should see some Lupine and Wood Betony. Alex will explain betonys role as a hemiparsite in management.
