Help us clear buckthorn and other non-natives at Alexander Oak Savanna in River Falls.
Date: January 27 (Sat)
Time: 10apm to 2pm
Location: old quarry in the site. We will work on the hill below the quarry on the south side.
Directions:
Take highway 35 south towards River Falls.
Take highway 65 south (35 turns into 65) toward Ellsworth.
Gravel road entrance is on the right just before the Town of River Falls town hall.
Park in the quarry, at the entrance, or in the Town Hall lot.
Bring:
- Dress appropriately for weather
- Drinking water
- Leather gloves
We will supply tools, hot dogs, and snacks. Feel free to bring you own lunch. Plan on a bonfire.
