Adelman-Schwartz Preserve Work Party
Saturday, September 5 – 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Location: Adelman-Schwartz Preserve in Walworth County, WI
Work day activities will focus on Invasive species brush management. We will focus our energy on brushcutting and treating non-native honeysuckle, common buckthorn, and multiflora rose.
DIFFICULTY: Moderate to high. Cutting or pulling brush can be difficult in some areas.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring drinking water. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Feel free to bring your own gloves and eye protection. We will provide trowels and shovels for removal. You may also want to bring insect repellent and sunscreen.
